i’m hiring an AI Fullstack Developer to help build AI Executive Assistant for the MD of a manufacturing company to manage company operations end-to-end.
the live channel will be WhatsApp, because that is where a large part of company coordination already happens. the assistant will manage work across emails, scheduling, company context, employee coordination, internal ops, and CXO travel.

this is an AI Executive Assistant for the MD of a manufacturing company.
the product is meant to run company ops for that user: coordination across emails, smart meeting scheduling, company context management, employee coordination, internal operations, and travel.
this is not a generic chatbot. it is an operational AI agent that lives on WhatsApp and safely takes actions across the company’s actual workflows through tools, permissions, approvals, and logs.
what you will work on
- build the backend platform for EA AI and its operational workflows
- build the WhatsApp experience where the MD will actually use the assistant
- integrate email workflows for reading context, drafting replies, follow-ups, and coordination
- build smart meeting scheduling, rescheduling, availability checks, and meeting coordination
- build company context systems so the assistant can answer operational questions with the right business context
- build employee coordination workflows across the MD, EAs, and internal teams
- build internal ops workflows, approvals, tracking, and execution support
- build travel workflows covering planning, coordination, and updates
- build structured tools the agent can safely call with permissions, approvals, and logs
- ship and maintain the product in production
required skills
- strong backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- experience building production APIs with Fastify, Express, NestJS, or Next.js API routes
- experience with Postgres
- frontend experience with React or Next.js
- comfortable working with external APIs, OAuth flows, webhooks, and background jobs
- ability to write clean, maintainable, production-grade code
- strong debugging skills
- ability to work independently with founder-level direction
- ability to build products that mix AI behavior with operational reliability
strong plus
- experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications
- experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar LLM APIs
- experience designing tool-calling systems for LLMs
- experience with Gmail API, Google Calendar API, and WhatsApp Business API
- experience with Supabase, Prisma, Redis, BullMQ, or similar tools
- experience with authentication, RBAC, permissions, audit logs, and approval workflows
- experience building operational products for internal teams or leadership workflows
ideal person
you should be a strong full-stack developer who can take product requirements and turn them into working software quickly.
you should be able to:

- make sensible engineering decisions without overcomplicating things
- build reliable systems that leadership can trust for real company workflows
